God
We believe there is only One True Living God, who eternally lives and manifests Himself as three distinct Persons (Trinity): God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, all having the same nature and perfections. God the Father is the creator of the universe and is a personal God who desires relationship with all people. He has always existed and is the ruler of all creation. He is perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten son. He was sent down as a man, born of the virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is God blameless and sinless and yet He died for the sins of everyone, so that anyone who believes in Him would have everlasting life. He rose from the dead at the third day and demonstrated His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven and will return again to judge the world. The Holy Spirit is present in this world convicting people for their need of our savior Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of their salvation. He provides counsel and guidance in living a Christian live.
(Matthew 28:18-19; John 16:12-15; Acts 2:36, 38-39; 1 John 5:1-21; John 3:16)
The Bible
The Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments is God’s word and all in it is true and without any error. It is written by human authors through the revelation of God and it is the foundational source of the Christian faith.
(2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12)
Man
Man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and therefore was lost. The result of sin is death and only through our savior Jesus Christ we are forgiven and are able to have a relationship with God.
(Genesis 1:26, Romans 6:23)
Salvation
Salvation is a free gift from God through truly repenting our sins to Him and through accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation cannot be attained through works but only through faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
(John 3:16, Romans 3:28 )
Prayer
We believe prayer is our way to communicate with God and God listens and answers our prayer in His time. We only pray to the One True Living God (Trinity): God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We only worship and pray to God and not through the saints (Mary, angels, martyrs, and Pope). We do not worship idols or believe in them.
(Philippians 4:6-7, John 16:24, Exodus 20:4-5)
The Church
The true Church is composed of individuals who put their trust and faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Believers are united together in the “Body of Christ” of which Jesus is the Head. We are there to worship, glorify, grow, learn, and reach out to non-believers.
(Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 5:23)
